Weyman Bennett, Co-convenor of Stand Up To Racism, has attended a rally in central London reported to have been attended by thousands of people “that support refugees and oppose racism”.
The rally falls on the same day that Home Secretary Suella Braverman arrived in Rwanda to “reinforce” the government’s plan to deport asylum seekers who have entered the UK to Africa.
