Lenny Henry and Meera Syal are among those who presented a letter to Number 10 asking for tax breaks for the film and TV industry to address a diversity “crisis” in the industry.
Signatories include Thandie Newton and Adrian Lester, and the letter argues an increase in employment of women, disabled people and people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds behind the camera is crucial.
