Disabled children and their families are missing out on vital care and support as a result of government cuts, according to a charity investigation.

The Disabled Children’s Partnership coalition includes more than 60 organisations.

It campaigns for improved health and social care for disabled children, young people and their families claim the government should pay back £434 million, which they believe is owed to them in social care, and support costs.

One mother has released an open letter to the Treasury of the struggle she faces due to council budgets.
