COVID-19: Families separated by travel restrictions are asking to be exempt

The government is being urged to exempt bi-national couples from COVID travel restrictions, so that those who have been stuck in different countries can finally reunite.

The global campaign group Love is not Tourism says half of all such couples haven’t seen their partners since the beginning of the pandemic.

Enda Brady spoke to a husband and wife who have been forced apart for more than 90% of their married life.
