Anti-hate and anti-Islam protesters are out in full force at dueling protests outside London city hall and one man has been taken away in handcuffs.
While the rally started off as peaceful, people are becoming more aggressive in their protesting. The crowd, according to an unofficial estimate, is more than 500 people.
After an argument started over opposing protesters accusing each other of spitting on people, police created a barrier around anti-hate protesters with their bikes.
Another anti-hate protester was knocked to the ground after he said he was punched by a member of The Three Percenters, a U.S.-based group that is protesting with Pegida today. A Three Percenters member was subsequently hand-cuffed and taken away by police.
