Two London men are charged with human trafficking after a tip led police to raid a local home.

The tip, which came to OPP Aug. 30, said a woman was being held and “physically and sexually” victimized, police say, in a London residence by two men she knew.

Middlesex OPP and London police got a search warrant and raided the home the next day. They arrested two men and a third person, who they later charged with drug possession.

The duo charged, both 23 years old, were hit with a combined 28 charges including human trafficking, assault, distributing intimate images, uttering threats, and numerous firearm and drug-related offenses.

One was released with a court date. The other was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

The third man, 24, was also released with a court date.

Police say there may have only been one complainant in this case. They are asking anyone with information relating to this investigation, or similar ones, to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
