Smoke was seen billowing across parts of central London after part of a restaurant caught fire.
London Fire Brigade was called to Connaught Street near Edgware Road on Saturday morning where firefighters found that the external ducting – part of the restaurant’s extraction system – had caught fire.
No-one was injured and the fire was put out within a couple of hours.
