After three days, and a public plea for help, Middlesex OPP have identified the cyclist killed in a crash northwest of London Tuesday.

Evlynne Loubert, 67, of Middlesex Centre was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding southbound on Bear Creek Road near Sinclair Drive at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, police say. The vehicle was driving in the same direction on the rural road southwest of Ilderton.

The driver of the car, a 20-year-old man, was unharmed, police said.

Police canvassed the area looking for neighbours and witnesses after the crash, but could not find anyone who knew the woman, who was not carrying ID with her.

Unable to identify the cyclist, police asked for help from the public Wednesday and released a description of the woman and the bicycle she was riding.

Police are still investigating the cause of collision.
