The London Knights have brought in a Londoner and former Plymouth Whaler to be their new assistant general manager.
The Knights announced Thursday that Colin MacDonald will replace Jake Goldberg, who left the Knights to take a position with the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League.
MacDonald played with the Whalers for four seasons from 2009 to 2013. He was captain of the team during his final season.
MacDonald was also an assistant coach of the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs minor bantam AAA team.
After his junior career MacDonald played a couple of years for the Western Mustangs in Canadian university hockey.
He recently graduated from the Ivey School of business. He also studied international business at King’s University College.
