London Police: Cops seek suspect in assault inside apartment building

London police are asking the public for help identifying an assault suspect.

A man entered an apartment building near Masonville Place mall on Aug. 19 about 2 a.m. When the occupant returned home, he confronted the intruder and was assaulted, police said.

Investigators released a surveillance image of the suspect Wednesday. He’s described as white man with a medium build, short brown hair, shaggy facial hair, five-foot-seven. The man was wearing blue jeans, a long long-sleeved blue shirt, white sunglasses and a black backpack.
