A man was seriously injured when a car struck a pole in the northwest London late Thursday.
Police responded to a single-vehicle crash Thursday night at Wonderland Road and Oxford Street. The man driving was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
His condition has stabilized as of Friday morning, said police, who have assigned the case to the traffic management unit.
The crash closed the intersection for several hours.
