London police say a string of fires at under-construction homes is suspicious

London police have determined that a fire causing $600,000 damage to three homes under construction is suspicious, and are seeking the public’s help.

Firefighters got the call about the blaze on Lawson Road near Sandbar Street about 1:15 a.m. last Friday, Aug. 18. Two houses were destroyed and a third was damaged. No one was injured.

The London police street crime unit has taken over the investigation. Anyone with information can call London police at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
