One woman is hospitalized and two men in police custody after a possible stabbing near Goodwill Industries at the Wellington-Horton streets intersection Tuesday.
It was about 2 p.m. when London police were called to the scene near downtown. One woman was taken to hospital and two men arrested a short distance away, police say. Both men are in police custody.
Witness Alannah Hickson was outside Goodwill when she said she saw two men and a woman arguing.
Hickson said security came outside and intervened but the fight progressed with the two men physically hitting each other. Hickson said she saw the woman try to stop them and said that the woman’s neck appeared to be injured.
“There were a lot of people that were helping her,” Hickson said. “Everyone stopped what they were doing and just kind of focused in on it.”
London Police Const. Sandasha Bough said the major crimes unit will be investigating the incident.
