London police seize nearly $55,000 in drugs after raids at four homes

Nearly $55,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized after police conducted a search of various homes in London.

City police and the RCMP searched residences on Hamilton Road, Maitland Street, Dalhousie Drive and Jalna Boulevard.

Drugs seized were cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl powder, marijuana, hashish, shatter and hashish oil. More than $4,000 in Canadian currency was also seized.

Michael Vail, 31, and Summer Boyko, 32, of London are charged jointly with three counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

Vail is also charged with three other counts of possession, one for the purpose of trafficking, and breach of probation.

Vail and a 39-year-old London woman are charged jointly with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of drugs.

Nelson Cruz, 31, and Anne Marie Carter, 32, of London are charged with possession and trafficking drugs.
