This is the amazing moment a Londoner reunited a dog with its owner after he found it wandering the M1.

Can Kabadayi, also known as the actor Snatchy, filmed the touching reunion on his mobile after he rescued the small white pooch from the dangerous carriageway.

The video, viewed more than 1.6 million times, shows how Mr Kabadayi, from Hackney, went after an oblivious Marley after seeing him dart out onto the busy road.

The Londoner had reportedly been on his way to a film shoot, but diverted his trip to follow the white mutt into a side street.

Apprehending the frolicking pup, Mr Kabadayi is heard to say: “Oh my days! I found it.”

He then retrieved owner information from the dog’s collar and began a journey to Finchley to get him home.

In the video, Mr Kabadayi bonds with his “new buddy”, playing him music from the car stereo.

Hearing of her dog’s adventures, a worried owner kissed Mr Kadabayi on the cheek as the actor explained: “Obviously everybody else left him.

“I circled round the whole block and found him.”

The owner said: “At least he had a good walk.”

The actor responded: “He made me run like a maniac.”

Mr Kabadayi told the Sun: “I’ve got a dog myself so I know how the owner must be feeling and I immediately thought ‘I’ve got to get him’.

“I got out the van, and then he dodged me one way then dodged me the other.”

Fans praised Mr Kabadayi’s derring-do on his Facebook page.

“Well done mate, not many people would do this,” wrote one, while another simply wrote: “Legend.”
