Suits star Meghan Markle has pulled back the curtain on her jet-setting romance with dashing Prince Harry.

In a shocking new interview with Vanity Fair, Markle, 36, says the couple are “in love” and “really happy.”

“We’re a couple,” she told the glossy mag. “We’re in love. I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time.”

She added: “This is for us. It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours. But we’re happy. Personally, I love a great love story.”

Markle and the prince met through mutual friends in July 2016 and dated for about six months before the voracious British tabloids got wind of the story.

Before that, there had been odd reports of Harry being spotted around Toronto, where Markle lives and Suits is filmed.

Now, worldwide whispers are suggesting that the 34-year-old ginger-haired son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana popped the question to Markle while on holidays in Africa last month.

The pair travelled to Botswana for Markle’s birthday at a $1,000-a-night jungle hideaway, Meno a Kwena Tented Camp, overlooking the Boteti river.

Harry — considered the world’s most eligible bachelor — has made no secret of his desire to get married and have children.

“I’d love to have children. There have been moments through life, especially when we do a tour abroad, when I think, ‘I’d love to have kids now,’” he said earlier this year.

But Markle admitted the pressure and media spotlight have been difficult at times.

“It has its challenges, and it comes in waves — some days it can feel more challenging than others,” she told Vanity Fair.

“And right out of the gate it was surprising the way things changed. But I still have this support system all around me, and, of course, my boyfriend’s support.”

Markle added that despite being on the inside of the world’s most famous family, she feels grounded and is the same person she was before.

“Nothing about me changed. I’m still the same person that I am, and I’ve never defined myself by my relationship,” she said.

And the actress said she never reads stories concerning her relationship with Harry.

“I haven’t even read press for Suits. The people who are close to me anchor me in knowing who I am.

“The rest is noise.”
