This is the moment a moped thug was caught on camera terrorising residents – armed with a huge machete.
The youth was seen brandishing the weapon as he and another teenager drove around an east London estate yesterday afternoon on a stolen moped.
At one point the pillion passenger jumped off the bike and armed with the massive blade, ran towards local youths in Harold Hill, Romford.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said they were called by members of the public at 4.10pm to “reports of suspects possibly in possession of a knife and or machete” in Hilldene Avenue.
The pair fled before officers arrived.
Police said no arrests had been made and no injuries were reported.
