In Birkenhead in Merseyside, at least one in three children live in poverty. And analysis by Sky News and the Resolution Foundation has found that the poorest 10% of households in the UK are getting into debt to fund their day-to-day living.

In her special report, Sky’s Sally Lockwood has spent six weeks in Rock Ferry in Birkenhead, looking at what debt looks like for families in the lowest income bracket.
