The Play: Midnight Madness, presented by Port Stanley Festival Theatre, directed by Simon Joynes.

The Show: Described as a Canadian comedy classic, Midnight Madness is the period piece that closes the Port Stanley Festival Theatre’s record-breaking 2017 summer season. This romantic comedy was written by Dave Carley and involves the ritualistic slaughter of a waterbed after a chance meeting moments before a midnight madness sale closes down.

The Quote: “Bloom’s Furniture is closing its doors for the last time. But first? Midnight Madness! A chance meeting between old high- school friends triggers romance amongst the waterbeds. Will Anna and Wesley make a go of it? Will Bloom’s really close forever? Join us for our season closer and see just what happens when all sales are final!”
