The Play: Jan&Jerry, written by first-time London playwright Nadine Lalonde and presented by the Palace Theatre/London Community Players.
The Show: Jan (Bridget Corbett) had a string of bad relationships, trying various dating methods and is now in the “I hate men” phase. Jerry (Mike Johnston) was the classic “player” until he found out he is a father by an ex-girlfriend and has a desire for a committed relationship. Mix in some coffee, some chocolate, some shooters, a group of friends and online dating . . . and the fun begins.
The Quote: “We are so delighted to present a brand new play by Nadine Lalonde. Nadine is a London author and this is her premiere script. Think television’s Friends crossed with Sex and the City.”
— Diane Haggerty and Peter Kunder, directors
