Dude, where’s my drone?

That’s the question the Ontario Provincial Police are asking after losing an unmanned aerial vehicle near St. Thomas.

An OPP drone operator was flying the device in the area of Southwold Township Wednesday afternoon.

Prior to the test flight, the drone had undergone a software update and the operator lost communication with it after it went out of sight.

A police search in the area for the drone came up empty.

The OPP are asking anyone who comes across the device to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
