Police are searching for a man who faces nearly a dozen charges after three people were assaulted in a Southwestern Ontario community.
A man entered a home on the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, 24 kilometres northeast of London, last Thursday and assaulted two men and a woman, Middlesex OPP said. The victims knew their attacker, police added.
Darryl Francis Sturgeon, 24, a Chippewas resident, is wanted for 11 offences, including three counts of assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats and possessing property obtained by crime.
Sturgeon is described as an Indigenous man, with a muscular build, dark hair, brown eyes, standing six feet tall and weighing 190 pounds. He has several tattoos, including the word “Trouble” on the left side of his neck.
