Police are today searching for a scientist who has been missing since Sunday night.

James Fisher, 38, was last seen by friends on August 27 night at Vauxhall Bus Station and having an argument with his girlfriend.

He spoke to his brother Simon, 40, on the phone the following day but his mobile phone is now switched off and messages from concerned friends and family have not been answered.

His brother said Mr Fisher’s disappearance is ‘out of character’ and have been following up possible sightings in central London.

James is a research scientist who works in Victoria and is described as white, with brown hair, six foot tall, of slim build, with stubble.

He has links to Epping Forest, Soho and Richmond.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
