A US priest pulled out a gun during a road rage incident, officials have said.

William Rian Adams, 35, allegedly became disgruntled when a pick-up truck tried to overtake him in Palm City, Florida.

The 35-year-old then “pointed a semi-automatic handgun” at the two people in the truck from his Chevrolet Corvette, police said.

He was arrested on Friday after the victims reported the incident.

According to WPTV, Adams said he did not pull out his weapon.

The North Carolina priest was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
