A 78-year-old Sarnia man has been charged following a report of an indecent act Saturday at Point Edward’s Waterfront Park.

Lambton OPP said it received a complaint from a concerned citizen about an alleged indecent act at the park.

As part of its investigation, police identified and arrested a suspect. The man has been charged with committing an indecent act in a public place but his name was being withheld to protect the identity of the victims, police said in a news release.

The man is scheduled to appear Oct. 2 in Sarnia court.

Lambton OPP is asking that anyone with information about the incident, or similar incidents, to contact the OPP, at 519-882-1011, or their nearest police office.
