Six people injured in Perth East crash

Six people were injured, including a four-year-old boy who suffered life-threatening injuries, in a two-car collision in Perth East on Sunday. 

The collision happened at Road 122 and Line 39 in Perth East when a Toyota car traveling northbound on Road 122 collided with a Ford car travelling east on Line 39, police said. Road 122 is controlled by stop signs and Line 39 is a through road.

Six people were taken to hospital with various injuries.

A four-year-old in the Toyota was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A man, woman and two children, aged seven and one, were also in the vehicle and had non-life threatening injuries, police said. 

The man driving the Ford was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Perth OPP are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
