A man and woman from Southwestern Ontario have been identified as two of three people killed in a fiery head-on crash south of Tobermory last weekend.

Traves Stephen, 22, of Lambton Shores was driving an SUV with passenger Jana Watson, 23, of Strathroy, southbound on Highway 6 in Northern Bruce Peninsula last Saturday when their vehicle collided with a Dodge charger travelling in the opposite direction, the OPP said.

The Charger was being driven erratically, police said, and crash caused the SUV to be engulfed in flames.

Police identified Stephen and Watson as the deceased Friday.

The Charger’s driver, Jim Thomas Johny, 30 of Mississauga, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Four passengers, all from Mississauga and Brampton, were also in the vehicle and were taken to the hospital. One of them, a 39-year-old man, was air lifted to a hospital in London in critical condition.
