Zhou Fengsuo was a student leader at the time of the Tiananmen Square protests 31 years ago.

Describing the events of the day, he told Sky News that other survivors from back then are still afraid to speak out publicly about what happened.

The crackdown saw Chinese soldiers crush months of peaceful protests by students who were demanding political reform.
