A 16-year-old boy charged with a series of acid attacks that all occurred in less than 90 minutes on the capital’s streets has appeared in court.

The teenager is charged with 13 offences, including six counts of throwing a corrosive fluid with intent to cause GBH and three counts of robbery.

Five separate men, all on mopeds, were allegedly targeted by two moped-riding attackers on July 13, within 90 minutes.

The offences took place across north and east London late at night. A sixth man on his moped was attacked the following day.

The teenager, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared at Wood Green Crown Court via videolink from Feltham Young Offenders Institute.

He has also been charged in connection with a robbery that took place on June 25, and is due to next appear at the same court for a plea hearing on September 8.
