London police are looking for two men after shots were fired during a fight in an east-end neighbourhood.

Police were called to Wavell Street, south of Dundas Street, Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. for reports of multiple gunshots heard in the area.

Two men got into a fight before the shots were fired, police said.

Nobody was hurt, but responding officers discovered bullets had struck two vehicles, police said.

“It’s definitely a scary situation any time anyone is involved in a firearms-related offence,” Const Sandasha Bough said.

Bough declined to say whether a weapon was retrieved, citing the ongoing investigation.

Investigators on Wednesday released descriptions of two suspects. One was a black man with a heavy build, five-foot-five. He was wearing a black jacket with a hood and black shots.

The other was a black man in his late-twenties, with a thin build, six-feet-tall, with an afro-style haircut and facial hair.

“The informnation we have right now is two were involved in an altercation, so we’re looking for those two individuals,” Bough said.

Anyone with information should contact police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
