The US ambassador to NATO says the West expects Russia to launch a renewed assault on Ukraine once the weather gets warmer.
While not ruling out an attack in the next two to three weeks, Julianne Smith says the US expects a ramping up of fighting in the spring.
And she said the West was not expecting Russia to attack from the north via Belarus nor make a second attempt on Kyiv.
