An Ingersoll man faces multiple charges after a pickup truck owner tried to hang on to his vehicle while a thief it drove away.
A truck owner, seeing his pickup being taken away on Queen Street in Tillsonburg on Monday at 10:47 a.m., confronted a suspect, Oxford OPP said.
The thief drove away while the owner clung to the side of the vehicle. The owner let go as the truck picked up speed and wasn’t seriously injured, police said
Officers later located the stolen pickup and a suspect.
A man, 36, is charged with theft, dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving while disqualified and failure to comply with a probation order.
